Welcome to the CIO Summit 2022

CIO Australia and IDC Australia are proud to present Australia's premier gathering for chief information officers and other senior technology and digital leaders, the CIO Summit 2022.

We are back with an in-person one-day event that features Australian business leaders who have shown leadership by deploying digital solutions to steer their organisations through the pandemic and an increasingly challenging geopolitical environment.

Sydney Local Health District’s chief information officer and CIO50 Alumni, Richard Taggart, will present a compelling case study on how technology played a leading role in the response to COVID-19 across Australia’s largest city, and the key lessons learned during the pandemic.

Canteen’s chief information officer, Raul Caceres, will uncover some of the myths about being a tech chief in the not-for-profit sector, as well as how the organisation that supports young people with cancer has leveraged innovative technology to implement social impact initiatives across the world.

Korn Ferry’s vice president APAC, technology, Bridget Gray, will discuss how to build technology capabilities across your organisation in a very challenging market for skills.

Ernst & Young’s Jacqui Kernot, Proofpoint’s Yvette Lejins, and experienced CIO and CISO, Nicki Doble, will talk about their experiences as women working in a cyber security sector dominated by men.

IDC’s group vice president, worldwide research, Rick Villars, will address how a digital-first world is transforming business models in key industries; while People of Influence’s Shaun Kenny will discuss why some people are universally admired, respected, and have a rare power to get others to effortlessly follow their lead.

If you’re a CIO or senior technology and digital leader, the CIO Summit 2022 is an event that is not to be missed.
